The young members with two honorary young members, including our illustrious chairman, went on a night out to Sheffield to the opening night of their Steel City Beer Festival.

Beer - How do people pick the beers to drink at beer festivals? We all decided on different plans of attack – Kim picking beers with the best names, Glynn picking beers from places he’d been to, Robert trying to find the right mix of light and dark, and everyone else just picking whatever was strongest!.

Rock and Roll - Then… the music started! An interesting combination of death metal and folk music. The first band played about half a song. The noise was outstandingly loud, no one could hear themselves think, until the lead singer chucked a mental! He started shouting about the sound man and in true rock and roll style “*Ј%$$&” “^&$&$Ј^!!” “*!$*%!” and then he threw down his mike and stormed off.

Officially the first time I’ve ever heard Glynn speechless!
